Mayberry Day in Defiance, Ohio

We had a lot of fun performing for the Mayberry Day Celebration on Saturday night at the Glenn Park Assisted Living Facility in Defiance.  Thanks to everyone who came out to listen.  The fried chicken, corn on the cob, mashed potatoes and gravy, and homemade pies were a real treat.  There was some serious debate among the guys about which pie should have won first place in the pie contest: peach, apple, cherry, or blueberry.  It was great to see Aunt Bee, Barney Fife, Opie, and get our picture taken with Barney's patrol car (see Photos page).

Lake Township Music in the Park

Holy Toledo, it's hot!  Tonight, we headed east to Lake Township's Friendship Park for their Music in the Park concert series.  Special thanks to the organizers for moving our concert indoors into the cool air.  What a great group of music lovers!  It was full house, with some folks standing in the hallway to listen to bluegrass.  Thanks to everyone for a great night of music and fun.  Hope to see everyone again soon.

Liberty Center Founder's Day Festival

We had a great show in Liberty Center - Jerry's hometown on Saturday afternoon.  Thanks to everyone who came out to listen to us.  It was a lot of fun to play music next to the old train depot, see volunteers in period clothing walking around, and perform for such a great crowd.  The timing couldn't have been better - we just finished packing up our instruments, had some homemade pie and ice-cream, and the rain storms started.  Thanks to Liberty Center for a great day.
